Ingrowing Toe Nails
What is it?
A nail edge that is growing into the flesh becomes painful. It can create a wound as well as become infected too.
Why do I get it?
A nail edge that is no longer growing straight, or a foot shape change that is causing the nail to grown into the flesh. It can even be nail growth becoming thicker.
What can be done by a Podiatrist?
Depending on the severity of the situation, it can be dealt with conservatively and if not then surgery is an option.
